L A K E S is an electronic duo with Alistair Hobson, on hardware, and Stewart Utley, on guitar. Originally from the UK, the musicians met in 2016 in Hanoi, the city that would feature heavily as the backdrop for their collaboration. L A K E S uses found sounds from the capital’s pool of constant noises to create original music that calms at the same time that it ripples with quiet anticipation.
